Easter Brights

Easter Brights!  (This is from an older post! It's not Easter anymore!)
Happy Easter! Or Vernal Equinox. Or Ostara.  Or just SUNDAY!
Whichever holiday you celebrate on this day, I created this look based on my favorite colors of the season.  I hope you like it!
I used the Coastal Scents 88 Matte Palette, and the most superb Poison Plum by Sugarpill to create this look.  Lashes are Red Cherry 128’s.  Blush was Nyx in Dusty Rose, and the lip color was Doll Pink gloss by Nyx, mixed with a fuscia by Sephora.
I hope you have a beautiful week!  I’m going to eat a lot of chocolate eggs. After I finish my drink.
♥,
Colleen and Ivy
P.S. Yes, Ivy has extra toes. We are pretty sure uses them to sharpen knives while we’re at work.
Good girl.

    1. Thank you!! For photos I usually am pretty generous with a well blended foundation. Then I follow that up with a good powder application. I am quite pale, and flash photos wash me out, so this is a critical step. Also, good skin care is a must! :-) Keep your canvas lovely so you have a perfect surface for painting :) I thank my Mom for passing down her good skin genes to me!
      Thank you, Alexandra!!

  9. I'm really pale too so I know exactly what you mean when you say it washes you out :) I have really dry skin to I always struggle with finding good full coverage foundations that are the right color for me and don't make me look all orangey! lol What do you recommend as far as liquid foundations?

Thanks for your lovely comment :)

    1. First off, what do you use to moisturize your skin? Does your skin still feel tight after you apply? If you are using a great moisturizer for dry skin, most liquid or whipped foundations will glide on like butter. :-)
