Inspired By: The Stars...And A Meteor! RUN!

In honor of Earth narrowly being struck by a meteor this week (see... there are worse things that could happen!), I am reminded and inspired by the vast beauty of outer space, the galaxies within, and the stars I see as I look out my window at night.

So for this week's makeup look, I bring you this celestial blend of colors and twinkles!
(And some MONSTER lashes! I couldn't resist... I have been dying to play with them!)  :-)
I hope you like it!

This week's shadow selection is yet another collection of colors from Rose Marie Shadows (of my own purchase).  I am absolutely thrilled with this brand.  The amount of product you receive, the quality, the pigment, and the VALUE is incredible.  (I am not being compensated in any way  by Rose Marie Shadows).  These are 5 gram jars... for $3 each!!  Awesome!

EYES:

♥ UDPP
♥ Ulta Shadow in Naked from brow to crease
♥ Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Yogurt to lid
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Vino to crease
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Shy to diffuse Vino up and out towards brow bone
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Romance to lid
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Illusion to inner corner
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Onyx to outer V and crease
♥ Black mascara, eyeliner (also to waterline)
♥ Red Cherry Lashes 102's. NOT for the faint of heart! You can always skip lashes if desired :)

 BLUSH:

♥ MAC Flirt and Tease

LIPS:

♥ Nyx Round Lipstick in Milan
♥ Smashbox Gloss in Fame

-----------------------------------------

Here is another view on these lashes... they are MASSIVE!
(They are really quite beautiful, if you are a lash lover like myself...so fluttery and glam!)

I hope this inspires you! This was a fun look to put together.  The colors blended so well together, I love the end result.

I hope you have a wonderful week and stay safe from any meteor showers!!
Sending you my best wishes, and as always, thank you so much for visiting. It means the world to me.
Much love!
XOXO!
♥ Colleen

He Loves Me. He Loves Me Not. Happy Anti-Valentine's Day!

I always get silly around this time of year because I start seeing so many beautiful and romantic makeup looks popping up, and I start thinking of those of us that might loathe the holiday.  Maybe you are unattached or heartbroken?  Maybe you don't like how over-commercialized Valentine's Day has become?  Maybe you are allergic to chocolate, Teddy bears, and love?

Hey, I got you, girl.

This is for those of us who might not be a fan of Valentine's Day.  Nope.  No lovely pink shadows, purples, or ROSES.  No way.

This is, what I like to call my "Anti-Valentine's Day" makeup look for 2013.

Let's get silly. Why not? :-)

Let's talk shadow.  I've got some beauties:

I'm currently obsessed with this fabulous cruelty free indie brand that I discovered on Etsy a while back, Rose Marie Shadows.  The colors are stunning, highly pigmented, and totally affordable. :-)  The colors that I am using for this look are Deep Blue Sea, Mermaid, The Huntress, and Buddha.

 EYES:

♥ UDPP
♥ Ulta Shadow in Naked applied from crease to brow
♥ Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Iced Mocha to lid
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Mermaid to Lid
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Deep Blue Sea to outer V and crease,
blended up and out towards brow bone
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in The Huntress to lower lash line
♥ Rose Marie Shadow in Buddha to inner corner. SO twinkly!
♥ Black liner to lash and water line
♥ Black mascara
♥ Lashes are Red Cherry #1's

BLUSH:

♥ E.L.F. Mellow Mauve

LIPS:

♥ Nyx Round Lipstick in B52
♥ Nyx Round Lipstick in Doll pink

NOW... I did say no pinks, right?  So why not get go for a black lip, instead?
I'm down.

Whichever way you decide, and however you choose to celebrate your Valentine's day, I hope it turns out as fabulous as possible! If you need a Valentine, I'm your girl!  I can even send you a Justin Bieber Valentine with press on tattoos... (NOW I've got your attention!!)  :-)

Best wishes to you!  I hope you have a wonderful week :-)  Thanks again for stopping by! Truly love it when you do!

XOXO,
Colleen

Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy :-)

You see... it's like Benefit Cosmetics was cosmically speaking to me when they released this adorable collection of eyeshadows: "World Famous Neutrals- Most Glamorous Nudes Ever".
They should've known I would be ALL over this palette!
Let me show you why:

First of all, it's an incredible assortment of neutrals, including "Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy" being a beautiful deep bronzy plum that I'm crazy about, "Gilt-y Pleasure", a gorgeous gold, "It's Complicated", a rosy pink, and "Call My Buff", a beautiful vanilla.

This palette also includes 2 shadow bases; "Birthday Suit", a shimmery nude, and "MyTwo Scents", a shimmery copper.  The colors selected for this collection are beautiful, sexy, and flattering for any skin tone. This is perfect for neutral day and evening looks. My new fave!

For those of you that know me, you know that I love to create eye looks that are gradient and well blended. With this assortment I can create my favorite look in a snap.

 EYES:

♥ UDPP
Birthday Suit used as shadow base to lid
Call my Buff to browbone down to crease, and also inner corner
Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy to crease and outer V
It's Complicated to diffuse Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy up and out towards brow
♥  Gilt-y Pleasure to lid and lower lash line
♥ Black eyeliner/ mascara
♥ Red Cherry Lashes 523's

 BLUSH:

♥ Blush from the Lauren Luke Vintage Glams collection.  It's a deeply pigmented rose.

LIPS:

(This is my personal favorite lip combo EVER.  Just me personally...)
♥ Wet N'Wild Lip Liner in 666
♥ Nyx Round Lipstick in Ceto
♥ Nyx Lip Gloss in Kiss

And there you have it!  A glamorous neutral look courtesy of Benefit Cosmetics and brilliant marketing! Come on... They had me with "Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy".  I should have a T-Shirt Made...

Cheers Everyone!!
I hope you have a wonderful week!  Thank you so much for stopping by.  I truly appreciate it :-)
Best wishes to you!

XOXO,
Colleen
