Sleek Makeup: Arabian Nights Eyeshadow Palette

Hey, Everyone!

So I took a bit of an unplanned hiatus, and I am happy to say that I am finally back with a new blog post!  While things have been rather busy for me, I still have had plenty of opportunity to shop and stash away new makeup!  I have learned that I can accumulate new makeup much faster than I can blog about it :(

So I'd better get going!

Today's blog post features an absolutely stunning collection of shadows by Sleek Makeup.  I picked up the Arabian Nights palette, and it has some beautiful shades if you are wanting to create a shimmery, sultry, colorful smoky eye.  You can also go a bit dramatic and neutral with it as well, which is what I wanted to do for this look today.
I used a gold shadow on the lid, and blended it in to a blue, then used a gorgeous black on the outer edge.
I gently blended the colors, and used a soft bronze shadow as my transition color in the crease.

Let's see what I came up with!  I hope you like it!

♥ UDPP
♥ Nyx Jumbo pencil in Milk to lid
♥ Nyx Jumbo pencil in Slate to lower lash line

♥ Shade 1 "Gold Souk" (shimmery gold) to lid
♥ Shade 2 "Simbad's Seas" (deep blue) to mid lid
♥ Shade 3 "1001 Nights" (black) to outer corner, V, and edge of lower lash line
♥ Shade 4 "Sorcerer" (twilight blue) to lower lash line
♥ Shade 5 "Aladdin's Lamp" (bronze) to crease, gently blended out
♥ Ulta shadow in Naked (matte vanilla) as highlight to brow bone
♥ Black Eyeliner to lash and water line
♥ Black mascara
♥ Red cherry lashes in 107's

♥ Ulta Blush in Afterglow

LIPS:

♥ Wet N' Wild Lip Pencil in 666
♥ Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Warm Latte

There you have it!  My first go with this pretty little collection.  I can't wait to put some of those beautiful jewel tones to use.  They are perfect for a fun night out :)
What are your favorite shades for a sultry smoky eye??

Thank you so much for stopping by!
I truly love it when you do.

xoxo,
Colleen
