Neutral Glam with ColourPop

Hey, Everyone!

For today's makeup look, I'm playing with some ColourPop eye shadows that I got last summer (I know... what took me so long??).  I really LOVE this look because it's super neutral, and yet totally GLAM at the same time.  These shadows are so PACKED full of shimmer and glitter, that your lids SPARKLE and twinkle like crazy!  My pictures do not do them justice!

These shadows are incredible to work with.  It's a cream to powder product, so I used my fingertips, a flat shader brush, and a very fluffy blending brush to apply the shadow. They really have a lot of impact, so being gentle with them is the key; too much blending can lessen their effect.
All in all, this was a REALLY EASY and FAST look to do! I might need more ColourPop in my life now.
A lot more. ☺

I paired this look with a flirty pair of lashes and a twinkly pink lip, and I really love how it turned out.

I hope you like it!

EYES:

In The Tropics

Hello, Everyone!

For this week's makeup look, I am using the In The Tropics Moonshadow Palette I got from Sephora a while back.   When I last checked it was no longer for sale- and this is fine really.  I wouldn't really recommend it.  I think the color payoff was decent, however the product just crumbled and turned to powder a soon as I touched my brushes to it :(

Regardless, I did create a fresh, colorful, and wearable look that brightened my winter mood :)

This palette has some neautral, metallic, and purple tones (scroll down to see palette), I opted to use the purple shadows ♥

I hope you like it!

EYES:

♥ UDPP
♥ Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk to Lid and lower lash line
♥ Laura Mercier Eyeshadow in Morning Dew (pale light pink) from brow to crease

♥ Shadow 1 "Fiji" (light frosty lavender) to lid and inner corner of lower lashes
♥ Shadow 2 "Bermuda" (light purple) above crease, as transition color
♥ Shadow 3 "Grenada" (deep purple) to outer V, crease, and lower lash line
♥ Black eyeliner to lash and water line
♥ Black mascara
♥ Red Cherry Lashes in 41's

FOUNDATION AND BLUSH:

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 120
♥ Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer
♥ L'Oreal Perfect Match Pressed Powder
♥ Nyx Powder Blush in Amber

LIPS:

♥ Marylin Miglin Lip Liner in Mochaberry
♥ Nyx Round Lipstick in Ceto
♥ Rimmel Lipgloss in Endless Summer

And there you have it :) A demure and colorful look that is office and evening friendly :)
Have any of you tried this palette?  What did you think??

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I truly love it when you do!

Hey, Everyone!

It's been a while since I've done a blog post, and I've missed you!  There are a special few of you that check in on me while I am away, and I really appreciate it.  Some of my dearest friends are my fellow bloggers and I don't know what I would do without you.  Thank you so much for being awesome and I hope you all had a wonderful new year!!

For this week's makeup look, I wanted to do a simple smoky eye using some shadows from the E.L.F. NYC Baked Eyeshadow palette.  This look features the metallic gunmetal shade; it's shimmery, sultry, and gorgeous!
