Halloween Makeup: Mystical Elf

Hey, Everyone!

I'm back this week with another Halloween makeup look!  I always love to do these because I get an opportunity to get creative and use my imagination :)  For this week's look, I created a really colorful "Mystical Elf" look using primarily Sugarpill eye shadows. I am also wearing an amazing wig from wigaholics.com. It's perfect for this bright, bold, colorful look that is full of fantasy. ♥

I LOVE how it turned out and I think this elf is precious. ♥

I hope you like the look!
Happy Halloween ♥

EYES:

♥ UDPP
♥ Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk to lid, lower lash, waterline, and brows
♥ Sugarpill Shadow in Tako (matte white) to inner corner and lower lash line
♥ Sugarpill Dollipop (bright matte pink) to lid, and above crease as transition.
I also applied this shadow to my brows
♥ Sugarpill Poison Plum (bright matte purple) to outer corner and crease
♥ Black Mascara
♥ Black eyeliner to top lashes
Amor US Lashes in #412

FACE:

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation
♥ L'Oreal Pressed Powder
♥ Sugarpill Dollipop Shadow in areas of desired contour; nose, eyes, chin
♥ White eyeliner to create her facial design, or "shroud".  Elves have shrouds to represent a magical ability or a source of protection. I created my own magical shroud by placing dots wherever I liked :-)
♥ Nyx Pressed Blush in Pinched

LIPS:

♥ OCC Lip Tar in Hoochie
♥ White eyeliner to cupids bow and just under lower lip

HAIR:

I got this amazing wig from wigaholics.com. As you can see it is extremely dynamic, colorful, and full of VOLUME! The wig that I got is the Two Tone Pink/ Dark Violet Long Wavy 70 cm ($29).
It is is extremely comfortable as it has an adjustable strap inside the cap, so you can get a really great fit.  I found that the hair can be styled quite easily, as it moves naturally and is very soft. The wig came with a brush and a stand, which I really appreciated.
I love this gorgeous hair and this it's perfect for my Mystical Elf!  There are so many other beautiful wigs on that website, I can't wait to add more to my collection. LOVE this!!

There you have it!
Something fun for Halloween!!

Halloween Makeup: Beautiful Disaster

Hey, Everyone!

For today's post I am doing a really fun and easy Halloween makeup look.
It's messy, hilarious, and daring.

This girl is a beautiful disaster...
We all know her, with her manic mood swings, and unrelenting sorrow...
She's the life of the party.  Sort of.
Maybe she's me sometimes?  Maybe she's you?
Whatever the case, she's come undone and I love her!

Enjoy!

EYES:

♥ UDPP
♥ Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Black Bean to lid, lower lash line. Blend messily with fingers
♥ Sugarpill Pressed Shadow in Bulletproof (deep matte black) to lid and lower lash line
♥ E.L.F. Baked Shadow in Burnt Plum to crease
♥ Black Eyeliner to lash and water line
♥ Black Mascara.  Dab the wand "accidentally" all over the place ;-)
♥ Ardell Double Up Lashes in 203

FOUNDATION & BLUSH:

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 120
♥ Loreal Perfect Match Pressed Powder
♥ Light Contour optional (I used Coastal Scents Contour Palette)
Sugarpill Lumi Eyeshadow (iridescent white) lightly dusted under eyes and to cheeks as highlight.
♥ Nyx Blush in Pinched

LIPS:

♥ Nyx Round Lipstick in Black Cherry.
Smear it like you mean it.

There you have it ☺
A quick and fun Halloween look. ♥
(As you can see I had a blast with this!)

I've been cooking up some more ideas for Halloween, so stay tuned!!
What are you going to be for Halloween?

Thank you for stopping by! I truly appreciate it when you do!

ColourPop: Forever Freshman Collection

Hey, Everyone!

For today's post I am doing a makeup look using the Fall 2015 Forever Freshman Collection by ColourPop. The collection contains 6 shadows; 3 shimmer & 3 matte, in perfectly fall shades!  I hadn't played with any of their matte shadows before, so this was an experiment that turned out awesome!
If you aren't familiar with Colourpop, their shadows have a creamy formulation, so application with fingertips or super soft brushes is ideal :-)

Let me show you the look I created using 3 of the shadows from this collection.
