Esqido Mink Lashes

Hey, Everyone!

I'm always on the hunt for beautiful glamorous lashes that are easy to apply and feel great throughout the day.  Sometimes the wrong pair of lashes can ruin your makeup look, and your mood!  For today's post, I am playing with a pair of  Esqido Mink Lashes to see if they meet my criteria. 😊

The pair that I am wearing is in the style "Gina" ($32).  I would describe them as flirty, wispy, and  tapered in length -starting shorter at the inner corner, and then gradually getting longer towards the ends. What I especially love about these lashes are the varying sizes of shorter lashes placed throughout the band.  This gives a very realistic and natural look that is just simply GORGEOUS.

I found that the lashes were very easy to apply, and were quite comfortable. I could easily wear them all day or night.  In addition, they held their shape without any issues.  By the time I was ready to remove them, I simply put them back in their case without having to reshape them.
To apply them, I used the Esqido Companion Eyelash Glue ($10) and I was very impressed with how quickly it dried, how long it lasted, and how easy it was to remove! πŸ˜€

Let's take a closer look at these lashes! I just love the varying lengths of these lashes! STUNNING!

Esqido Lashes: "Gina"

There you have it!! I absolutely adore these lashes. I think this particular style is sexy, eye-catching, and classy.

Killa Beauty Faux Mink Lashes: Maria

Hey, Everyone!

For today's blog post, I'm playing with a pair of faux mink lashes that I received from These lashes are bold, dramatic, and add a lot of flair to any makeup look!

The lashes that I used for this look are "Maria" and are gorgeous.  I found that they are relatively easy to apply, and comfortable to wear. They have a strong curl to them, so they are not going to wilt on you throughout the day. I would recommend using a latex based glue so that you can clean them up easily after each time you wear them. 😊

I picked up a few styles of their lashes, and have yet to try them all.
I absolutely love the ones I've tried so far!

KillaBeauty Lashes: Nora, Suki, & Maria

Simply Scrub: Organic Body Scrubs

Hey, Everyone!

For this week's post, I'm delighted to share with you a new product that I've discovered! I recently was introduced to Simply Scrub, a 100% organic, natural, and chemical free body scrub company. I always get excited when trying new organic skin care, so this was a fun product to test out!!

There are four varieties of body scrubs, including soursop, coffee, rose, and chocolate ( I know! You're intrigued too!). To be honest, I've never heard of SOURSOP, so naturally I had to try this one first! In doing a little research on soursop, I've learned that it's a fruit with extremely healing properties. It helps with a myriad of skin conditions including itchy dry skin and eczema, and is rich in vitamins A, C, and E.

Soursop Organic Body Scrub

This magical scrub has a bright and fresh smell to it, and feels invigorating on the skin. This came in as an absolute lifesaver when I was waking up in the middle of the night with dry, itchy skin.  The very next day I tried this for the first time, and it felt AMAZING. My skin balanced out and began to behave itself again.  The scrub felt granular and effective, but it was also non-irritating on my sensitive spots.  My skin stayed hydrated and smooth for hours after each use.

Coffee Organic Body Scrub

The next scrub that I tried was the coffee scrub.  This scrub smells like HEAVEN as it's packed full of organic coffee beans! It is a perfect morning boost for all coffee lovers!! This scrub has anti-inflammatory properties and is very soothing on red and inflamed skin.  It is also loaded with organic Dead Sea Mineral Salt which contains over 20 minerals that fortify and smooth your skin.
My skin felt baby soft after using this, and I smelled good tooπŸ˜€

Please give Simply Scrub a visit if you are in the market to try some 100% organic, natural, and chemical free scrubs!! They are very thoughtful products that feel and smell amazing! (They are good for you, too!!)

Thank you so much for stopping by, I truly love it when you do!!

A very special and heartfelt thank you to Simply Scrub for the opportunity to try out your thoughtful products. I love them! Keep up the great work!

J. Cat Beauty: Holographic 3D Eye Topper

Hey Everyone!

I'm really excited about this blog post because I've been wanting to share with you this AMAZING find that I recently purchased from J. Cat Beauty. I am always intrigued by duo-chrome eye shadows with lots of dazzle, and I just so happened upon their 3D Holographic Eye Toppers.
This product is a liquid that is easy to apply, dries perfectly, and DOES NOT budge! It applies very sheer, so you can build as much color and impact as you would like. Also, the color payoff is going to vary depending upon what base color you use.  I applied this ON TOP of a primer AND a shadow, and it looked STUNNING!

I found it a little tricky to photograph because of it's sparkle and color shift, but I think you can get a good idea of the effect of the product.  For the look that I did, I used "Viridian" which is a deep blue/ purple shadow πŸ’œ

Viridian, Pinch Me Peachy, & Azul Lemonade

Maple Holistics: Argan Oil

Hey Everyone!

For today's post I wanted to review a product that I recently received from Maple Holistics!  I am VERY familiar with Maple Holistics as a skin and hair care company.  They pride themselves in offering products that are cruelty & sulfate free, all natural, and made in the US.  Over the years, I've tried several products from them, ranging from amazing shampoos, to face masks, to incredible facial serums. I have found all of the products to be of high quality, and extremely affordable. Even to this day, I continue to use some of their skin care in my nightly skin care regimen!

Today I wanted to spotlight their Argan Oil.  Maple Holistics offers a full 2 ounce bottle of their cold-pressed and refined Argan Oil for $14.99 (that's an amazing value!). This product has a very rich blend with a very luxurious feel to it. And as many of us know, argan oil is an incredible moisturizer with a multitude of purposes. This can be used on skin as an anti-aging preparation (argan oil is RICH in anti-oxidant vitamin A, as well as vitamin E), it can also be used to help heal minor skin issues, including burns and acne. Argan Oil is also most notably known for it's moisturizing properties, as it can be applied directly to dry skin and hair, leaving your skin soft and supple, and your hair smooth, manageable, and full of shine. I like to apply this gently under my eyes at bedtime, and I also add a drop to my evening facial moisturizer for an added boost! Argan oil is a must-have in your skin and hair care arsenal!

I highly recommend that you visit Maple Holistics and give them a try. I appreciate their message as a company, as well as their thoughtfulness behind their products.  If you'd like to receive free products from them, you can do so by visiting this LINK (YES!! Free products!!!)

Thank you for stopping by! I truly love it when you do. 😘

Classic Black Smoky Eyes

Hi Everyone!

For this week's post I wanted to do a CLASSIC and sultry makeup look that is always a stunner! I went with a matte black smoky eye with some blended warm tones.  It's super easy to do, and can also be super easy to mess up, so it's best to start out light and build as you apply. I selected shadows from my J Cat Beauty 24 eyeshadow palette in Downtown LA.  The matte shadows in this collection are incredibly pigmented and rich, so a little goes a long way!

I completed the look with a dramatic pair of lashes and a glossy nude lip to give it a little Brigitte Bardot-Claudia Schiffer-Pamela Anderson feel to it.  😊

I hope you like it!

♥ Urban Decay Primer Potion to lid
♥ Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Slate (deep gray) to lid and  lower lash line

J. Cat. Beauty 24 Palette in Downtown LA

♥ Shadow 1- Black shadow to lid, blended up. This is also applied to lower lash line.
♥ Shadow 2- Burgundy shadow to crease
♥ Shadow 3- Soft matte coral shadow as transition from crease to brow
♥ Shadow 4- Matte vanilla shadow to brow bone
♥ Black Eyeliner and Mascara

♥ Red Cherry Lashes in 217's

♥ Maybelline Fit Me Foundation
♥ Maybelline Master Conceal
♥ L'oreal True Match Pressed Powder
♥ Coastal Scents Contour Palette
♥ Model Co Powder Blush in Peach Bellini

♥ Milani Lip Pencil in All Natural

There is the completed look! I think this is one of my favorite classic makeup looks of all time.
It's simply gorgeous on every eye color and every skin tone!

What shades do you like to wear when you do a smoky eye?

Thank you so much for visiting! I truly love it when you do.
